“OXYGEN MEDIA’S “SISTERHOOD OF HIP HOP” BECOMES NETWORK’S HIGHEST-RATED FRESHMAN SERIES PREMIERE OF THE YEAR AMONG ALL KEY DEMOS”

NEW YORK, NY– August 13, 2014– The series premiere of Oxygen’s newest docu-series, “Sisterhood of Hip Hop,” following five up-and-coming fierce femcees, delivered 811,000 total viewers, 482,000 P18-49 and 375,000 F18-49, which marks the network’s highest-rated freshman series premiere of the year to-date, according to Nielsen. The premiere helped Oxygen earn its highest-rated primetime of the year to-date among F18-49 and P18-49 and most-watched Tuesday of the year in total day among F18-49 and F25-54. Compared to the prior four week time period average, the series premiere saw impressive growth, up 113 percent among F18-49, 91 percent among P18-49 and 70 percent in total viewers.
